Short Biography

As an undergrad, I worked for three years in a neurodevelopment lab at Brigham Young University studying the development of the trigeminal placode. I also spent six months as an intern at the Chinese Academy of Science where I worked on the interplay between sonic hedgehog signaling and glutamate transport. My project in the Biederer lab was focused on the roles of different nutrients in breastmilk on functional cortical development and synaptogenesis.
