We are excited to establish our nutrition research group at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging in Boston, in addition to our research group at Yale investigating synapse development. This additional research lab will build on our expertise in exploring how bioactive dietary compounds impact neuronal connectivity. The HNRCA is one of the largest research centers in the world studying healthy aging and its relationship to nutrition. We are looking forward to being part of the nutrition research at the HNRCA, learn from our new colleagues, and contribute to its mission to develop nutritional recommendations for public policy and clinical healthcare. Further, the relationships of the HNRCA with most industry leaders related to nutrition, including the majority of the top 25 food and beverage companies in the world, will enable us to advance our translational work.
